Home health in Las Vegas, for the people who served the nation here.

The Nevada Test Site sits an hour northwest of the valley, and thousands who worked there and at other federal sites live here still. Alara is the nurse-owned agency built to bring their covered care home, at no cost to you.

Where we go.

We bring skilled nursing, therapy, and home health aide care into the home across Clark County and Southern Nevada. If you live in the valley, we come to you. And the people who come are ours: Alara does not use traveling or agency nurses — the clinicians who walk into your home live in Southern Nevada.

Many of the families we serve are Nevada Test Site workers who still live where the work was — Pahrump and Nye County are part of where we go. Farther out into rural Southern Nevada, coverage is confirmed case by case: send the referral with your city or call (702) 814-9630 and we give you a straight answer on the first call.

Nevada’s own, and the benefits they earned here.

Las Vegas is home to the workers who built and ran the Nevada Test Site, now the Nevada National Security Site, along with federal and postal employees and veterans across the valley. Each of those groups has a federal benefit that can bring skilled care home. We work with all of them.

Worked at the Test Site yourself? We keep a full local guide to who is covered, the illnesses that qualify, and what the benefit is worth. See the Nevada Test Site guide →

Local help, not a national call center.

The biggest names in White Card home health are run from Colorado and Utah, and two of them are owned by private-equity firms. Alara is nurse-owned and based here. When you call, you reach a local team, and a Director of Nursing reviews every start of care. We are independent, we are of this valley, and we intend to stay both.

DOL Las Vegas Resource Center

(702) 697-0841

The federal government’s no-cost help for Nevada Test Site and DOE workers in Southern Nevada. They assist with filing and benefit questions at no charge. If you are just starting, they are a good first call, and so are we.

Care that comes to you, here in the valley.

See what applies to you in about a minute, or have a local nurse call you. Covered care tied to your accepted condition is paid by the federal program, so you never receive a bill.

Alara helps you understand and reach benefits you may already be entitled to. It does not replace the Department of Labor, the Department of Veterans Affairs, your Resource Center, an authorized representative, or any federal agency. It helps you work with them. Nothing here is a coverage or eligibility determination.
